These are handthrown cups are designed for children and toddlers. The snail is handformed and painted by Erica, another wonderfully talent sister of mine, and set into the handled cup made by Marjorie.
The snails eyes will poke out above the surface, so when the drinking you can see him looking at you! It helps toddlers in particular to focus and tilt the cup steadily, so as not to drench themselves! The angled shape of the cup also helps them to see the liquid coming towards them, a nice way to help move to an open cup!
